Spelling Bees

Spelling Bees are one of the Knights of Columbus activities held throughout the USA. Our council conducts them annually at both St. Joseph Parish and St. John Neumann Parish. Eighth grade students of parish families who participate in the parish religious education programs are invited to enter the competition. Our winners then participate in the Diocese of Metuchen event, which for several years has been chaired by a member of the St. Joseph Council.

Our annual Family Bowling is a popular activity.
The Knights of Columbus Family Week in August is a special opportunity for our Order to celebrate and emphasize the importance of the family through programs that support the Church and the parish, and unite Knights and Squires with their families and the community at large. Our council organizes an annual Family Week cookout to show parishioners of St. Joseph Church that families are the backbone of communities and our Order.
We have annual "Pizza on the Knights" activities for members and thier families.
