Dues & Initiation Fees for new Knights or Knights who transfer into St. Joseph Council (including Knights of Columbus "Online Members")

Dues:
- St. Joseph Council does not require payment of an Initiation Fee from new Knights or from any Knight who transfers into our council from another Council or who is an "Online Member" of the Order.
Dues:
- New members or "Online Members" are not required to pay Annual Membership Dues to St. Joseph Council until their first full calendar year of council membership.
- If a member from another council transfers into St. Joseph Council and has already paid his current year annual dues to that council, the Supreme Council will make an adjustment. The following year, the transferred member must pay his dues to St. Joseph Council.
Annual Membership Dues
Priests, Permanent Deacons, Honorary Life Members (men age 70 who have been members 25 years) and full-time college students are exempt from annual dues in St. Joseph Council.
Members who are obligated to pay annual dues receive a statement that specifies the amount of his dues. Annual dues are billed in December and payable on January 1.
The annual dues for Honorary Members (men age 65 who have been members 25 years) are $15.
For all other council members, the annual dues are $60. But:

- If the council receives the payment by January 15, the member can pay just $30;
- On January 15, the required payment increases to $40;
- On February 15, the required payment increases to $50;
- On March 1, the required payment becomes $60.

If a member pays his annual membership dues promptly, he can save himself money and save the council the added work needed to process reminders.
